Small Incontinence Pads
Small Incontinence Pads are anatomically shaped to fit close to the body, helping to provide protection against leaks. Our Small Incontinence Pads range in absorbency levels and are designed to be discreet. Included in this range are pads designed to be gender-specific, such as Vivactive Men and the Vivactive Lady Pads.
For more severe incontinence, our Large Incontinence Pads are slightly more expensive than Small Incontinence Pads but have faster absorbency due to the 'high loft' material.
Using small incontinence pads
Small incontinence pads are designed to be simple and discreet. By using them correctly, you’ll make sure that you get maximum comfort and protection. With the right preparation, application, and care, your pads will perform as intended, which’ll give you peace of mind every second of the day.
Preparation and storage
Always check your specific product's instructions beforehand, but generally, you should store your pads in a dry area, like a wardrobe or chest of drawers, avoiding damp areas, as moisture can impact the pad’s absorbent materials.
Small incontinence pads contain super-absorbent polymers (SAP) and other materials that are designed to lock in liquid. If they’re exposed to damp air, then these materials can start to absorb moisture, reducing their absorbency when you come to use them.
Benefits of small incontinence pads
With small incontinence pads, you get a fantastic balance of discreet design and reliable performance, making them perfect for light to moderate leaks. They combine absorption technology with skin-friendly materials, providing comfort, confidence, and convenience.
Discretion and comfort
Our small incontinence pads are slim and shaped to be almost invisible under clothing, giving you the confidence to continue with your day as normal. Not only that, but with soft and breathable materials, you’ll stay comfortable all day.
Superior protection
You get exceptional protection thanks to advanced absorption technology that draws liquid away from your skin and locks it into the core. The SAP inside the pads trap moisture and keeps your skin dry for hours, and integrated odour control systems help you stay fresh, while discreet leak guards along the sides add an extra layer of protection against unexpected leaks.
Convenience and accessibility
Individually wrapped for discretion and hygiene, small incontinence pads are easy to slip into a bag or pocket. They’re compact and lightweight, making them convenient to take wherever you need.
Small incontinence pads FAQs
How do you choose the right size pads?
Choosing the right size for your pads is crucial for comfort and stopping leaks. Start by measuring your hips and comparing them with the sizing chart of the product you’re buying. We don’t recommend using your usual clothes sizes as these can vary.
We recommend trying a few sizes to find what fits you best. Pads that are too big can cause bulk and chafing, while pads that are too small may not provide enough coverage or absorbency. We’ve got a full guide on choosing the right size incontinence pads if you’d like more information.
How often should small incontinence pads be changed?
Small pads absorb light leaks and don’t need changing after every little accident. Change them when they feel wet or reach their absorbency limit to avoid discomfort, odours, and skin irritation. For more information, see our blog How often should you change your incontinence pads?.
How do you dispose of small incontinence pads?
To dispose of small incontinence pads, first remove and fold the pad, securing it closed with the sticky adhesive. Then place it in a sanitary bag before disposing of it. When out and about, most female toilets have sanitary bins for easy disposal, but men may need to use disabled toilets, as many male toilets lack these.
