The Bariatric Atlantic Commode & Shower Chair comes with a choice of either 20`` or 22`` seat width.
The Atlantic range can be used for toileting away from the bathroom or used when wheeled over a standard toilet. Made from plastic coated steel tubing fitted with plastic castors, open aperture seat and plastic components makes it suitable for use in the shower. Each model is supplied with a rear access plastic bowl, clip on backrest, aperture seat and detachable arms, which can be swing back or dropped down for easy access and side transfers.
Each model is fitted with four, fully braked castors. To prevent the wheels from rotating and swivelling, press down the lever on each castor. To release the castor, push the lever upwards.
The multi-function design can be swing back, dropped down or removed for easy access to the seating area. The arm is locked in position by the front socket. To release, press the plastic lever to the rear and lift arm to remove from the socket. To remove the arm from the rear socket, depress the spring button at the rear and lift arm.
The commode bowl is located underneath the seat. Access is at the rear and it is removed or fitted by sliding in or out from the back of the seat.
