According to people living with the incontinence symptoms, embarrassment is a major factor in preventing them from seeking treatment, and effective management of their illness.
Facing up to Incontinence is a new booklet that has been created by the Bladder and Bowel Foundation (B&BF). It gives readers the true impact and experiences of different people who have faced up to incontinence problems and successfully sought treatment.
The aim of the B&BF in this new booklet is to help encourage these people to seek the help they need and get access to the treatments that can help improve their lives, giving them a better standard of life whilst dealing with incontinence symptoms.
The Bladder and Bowel Foundation is a UK-wide charity that provides information and advice on a range of symptoms and conditions related to incontinence.
For a free copy of the booklet call the B&BF on 01923 202523 or register online at http://www.bladderandbowelfoundation.org/ as a health professional supporter and download this booklet and all B&BF’s other educational resources and information.
